Way to Long

I can't beleive it has been over a month since I have blogged!!! Life has been very busy. Abigail is 8 months old,(yes I am shedding a tear!!!) I can't beleive my little girl is getting bigger and how fast 8 months has gone by. Katherine is 7 going on 14!!!! Honestly where has the time gone? Jason can't handle his little girls growing up so fast,I told him he has no idea. I am struggling with the thought of going back to work. Jason and I are praying ferverently that I will be able to work from home, the Lord is again teaching me about FAITH!!!! I have to stand in the knowledge that HE knows the desire of my heart and what's best for our family!! I am definetly being stretched. Please pray for me,my blogging buddies!!!

To Bring Honour

This might seem cheesy to some and I'm not trying to brag I just wanted to take a moment to honour my husband. Jason is my other half, literaly. When I'm anxious he calms me dowm, when I'm sad he makes me laugh, when I'm having a bad day he tells me I'm beautiful!!! He cooks me dinners on his days off and helps out with the girls. He daily does little things to make me feel special, and I want him to know it does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. It humbles me DEEPLY when I realize the risk he took in trusting and loving again but I'm blessed that he chose to do it with me!!!
I'm thankful for everyday with Jason and love him more today than yesterday!!!

"May the best days of our future,be the worst in our past."

It's been awhile

I haven't blogged in forever!!!! Partly because I have been really busy now that my little girl is 6 months old. It doesn't seem possible, she's growing right before my eyes!!!! I love being home with her and discovering the world with her. It's so neat to me that a ceiling fan or a light captures her full attention,or how joyful she gets when she sees me. I enjoy every aspect of being Abigail's mommmy.

Emotional

Today I am overcome with emotion. I wasn't even this bad when I was pregnant!!! {lol}
When I think about all the Lord has bestowed upon me I am without words,it seems all I can do is cry. I am so undeserving, yet he pours out his grace and mercy. He has given me a loving husband who treats me like a queen,I have a amazing extended family who are very supportive, honest and loving friends and last but certainly not least two wonderful, darling, beautiful girls, whom I get the pleasure of parenting and the joy of watching them blossom into young godly women. My heart is so full of love at this moment it feels like it could surely break!!! Thank You God for sending your SON so that I may be free to experience love

Gratitude

Yesterday I took advantage of the gorgeous weather, after Abigail woke up from her afternoon nap I strapped her in the stroller and off we went on a walk. I came to the conclusion that although sometimes I wished we lived in the city I enjoy being in the"boondocks" {as Hannah calls it} As I was walking along I was taking in all the sights, you see i took a road i hadn't been down before and I thought what a better time to do some exploring!!! It was so nice to be out in the sunshine with my little girl and the beautiful landscape my Lord had created!!! I found a path that lead to the river and it was the most beautiful picture I had ever seen. The river was crashing against the rocks and from where I was on this plateau I could see miles down the raging river. It sounds cheesy but I thought how cool that the Lord put this beautiful spot practically in my backyard!!! At that moment I was so overcome with gratitude for all my Lord has given me!!!!

a simple lyric

I was driving today and listening to a song that really spoke to me. The lyric said "Just like a mother who cradles her baby,so the fathers grace falls on us". I thought that was a very unique way of describing how God gives us grace. I pictured myself cradling Abigail, how I love to stare in her eyes and shower her with kisses and hugs. It was awe inspiring to think that my heavenly father showers me with grace all the while holding me close. I also love that even as I am going about my day, thinking about all the errands I have to accomplish my father loves me enough to speak to me through a simple song lyric. Thank You Lord for loving me that much!!!

One Flaw in Women

One Flaw In Women

>Women have strengths that amaze men.
>They bear hardships and they carry burdens,
>but they hold happiness, love and joy.
>They smile when they want to scream.
>They sing when they want to cry.
>They cry when they are happy
>and laugh when they are nervous.
>They fight for what they believe in.
>They stand up to injustice.
>They don't take "no" for an answer
>when they believe there is a better solution.
>They go without so their family can have.
>They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
>They love unconditionally.
>They cry when their children excel
>and cheer when their friends get awards.
>They are happy when they hear about
>a birth or a wedding.
>Their hearts break when a friend dies.
>They grieve at the loss of a family member,
>yet they are strong when they
>think there is no strength left.
>They know that a hug and a kiss
>can heal a broken heart.
>Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
>They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
>to show how much they care about you.
>The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.
>They bring joy, hope and love.
>They have the compassion and ideas.
>They give moral support to their
>family and friends.
>Women have vital things to say
>and everything to give.
>
> HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
>IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.
